Das Ebertor - Hotel & Hostel - Boppard

Very clean facilities make for a pleasant stay.

The ventilation in my dormitory was inadequate. With six people sharing, the air became stuffy. I also found the noise insulation to be subpar, as sounds from adjacent rooms disrupted my rest. There was no shared kitchen , limiting meal options and convenience.

Got reasonably spacious room with bath when arrived, thoroughly enjoyed that. The location was marvellous and the train station was in front of the hotel. It was a couple of blocks away from Boppard downtown.

The breakfast buffet was a good value for the price, staff was helpful in answering our questions and the location was perfect location for catching a cruise down the Rhine to see the castles.

The bunk beds had curtains for privacy, a nice touch and made the stay more comfortable.

Sound insulation between the walls could be improved, as I could hear noise from the adjacent rooms.

For me, it was the proximity to the railway station - handy for rolling in off the final real train from Emmelshausen at 1:17 in the morning! The substantial buffet breakfast was excellent also.

Well sited for train, bus and river transport. Excellent breakfasts.Staff very friendly and helpful. Terrific value for money booking thru Booking Com.

perfect base to explore boppard's charm and views

I had a great stay, enjoying the modern room with a lovely view of the Rhine, and being just a few steps away from both the train station and a grocery store made my explorations around Boppard super easy.

This was my second stay at Hotel Ebertor. It is well managed, friendly staff and good vlaue for money. The location is superb with views across the Rhine.

Not a bad one, the only thing is that at proposed rate ( cheap one though) we were put into motel style rooms looking at parking. Would have preferred to know this in advance and pay maybe more but to stay at main building which is looking much nicer and has river view

The lack of air conditioning. The bathroom arrangements combined with sleeping areas in dorms created inconvenience!!! There was no shared kitchen for self-catering options!!!

I've stayed here many times, when stopping over on the journey I made regularly between Prague and the uk. I always looked forward to my stay here, the welcome from the manager who treats me like a vip, the lovely location, the nice room and the excellent breakfast. I would never stay anywhere else and if the hotel was full I would arrange my trip around available dates. I will no longer be making this trip as I now reside solely in Prague, so my frequent visits to Hotel Ebertor will sadly have to end. No doubt I'll find an excuse to get there again one day! Wonderful place.

The motel-style layout of rooms sometimes led to being disturbed by inconsiderate guests, though this isn't really the hotel's fault.

Great location, friendly and helpful English-speaking staff, excellent breakfast, high-quality room, very good value for money.

Would have preferred a real double bed instead of two single beds pushed together.

Everything was very good and lots to do. The room was new-fashioned with bath and nice view plus good mattress and the location was great. The restaurant was nice, we tried amazing dishes.

The hotel was on the Rhein very good for trips on the river and being oppersite the railway station easy to go further by public transport and not haveing to drive every ware
